Very interesting "how-to" when shtf happens. Get a steam engine ready. The EMP won't crash it.

NO FULFILLMENT IN LIFE WITHOUT HARD WORK. No fulfillment in video games, making money, going social club churches, internet activities ... No satisfaction fulfilling life without hard work.

The museum talks as if the family built and maintained everything on this land. John Jarrell enslaved 39 black people, for over 600 acres! I wonder how the slaves survived through the 1860s typhoid fever outbreak, General Sherman, emancipation, and Reconstruction.

Staff very informative. Good for an afternoon

After the Civil War, the Jarrell family continued to farm with now "former" slaves, and he increased the farm to nearly 1,000 acres.

A nice couple of hours. Nice old plantation tour. 15-minute movie on the history and overview of the property. Then follow the trail to see the old houses, barns, mills, etc. Not many places like this, anymore.

Very informative. Especially on the plantation technology that was built and used. The people were all very nice with genuine Georgia charm and accent.

Let this place show you fulfillment and survival.

Wish we knew more about their names, ages, and lives.
